Sara is a performer, choreographer, programmer, researcher, technologist, and artist. She holds a BASc from the University of Waterloo in Systems Design Engineering. She has partially completed her MASC as part of the Vision and Image Processing Lab and the Motion Research Group but put her studies on hold to perform with the equestrian theatrical company Cavalia.
Two passions...
Equally in love with circus and technology, my formal studies have been in engineering while I have taught and performed circus arts for more than 10 years. I believe creativity is born at the crossroads, and my vision is to bring further interdisciplinary to the performing arts.
